Scott Hicks
Mr. Hicks is a former investment banker working with RBC Capital Markets and BMO Capital Markets on their respective mining teams. He also served as VP Corporate Development and Communications of Anfield Gold Corp., which was acquired to create Equinox Gold Corp and Luminex Resources Corp., which was acquired by Adventus Mining Corp. He currently serves as the EVP Corporate Development and Director of Strategic Resources Inc., VP Corporate Development and Communications of Lumina Gold Corp. and as a Director of Fuerte Metals. Over the last two decades, he has worked on a variety of equity, debt and advisory assignments while working in Canada and Australia. Mr. Hicks holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of British Columbia.
Marcio Fonseca
Over 30 years of experience in mining finance, exploration, project development, and public company management. He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of London and a Diploma from Imperial College (UK)-Royal School of Mines, a Specialization in Economic Engineering from Fundacao Dom Cabral (Brazil), and a BSC degree in geology, from the University of Minas Gerais (Brazil). Track record of successful transactions in multiple jurisdictions while managing natural resource portfolio at Macquarie Bank (former Division Director for Macquarie Bank – Metals and Energy Capital Division), including a key role in the CDN$155M acquisition of Silver Crest by First Majestic Silver Corp.
Mr. Fonseca has a solid technical and operational background acquired through direct exposure to the evaluation, development, financing, and operation of world-class mining projects. Extensive experience in many jurisdictions through all phases of mineral asset development including senior positions with Vale, and Phelps Dodge in Latin America
He is a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia, Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo). He is a Member Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM ), and the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG).
Colin Healey
Mr. Healey brings over 20+ years of extensive experience as a finance professional and recognized uranium expert to his role as the CEO of Premier American Uranium. Prior to becoming the CEO of Premier, Mr. Healey dedicated 16 years of his career as a Mining Research Analyst at Haywood Securities, specializing in uranium and other commodities. Throughout his tenure, he consistently earned high rankings in the Bloomberg Portfolio BARR Ranking and securing the top position for uranium equities on a 3-year basis.
Before his time at Haywood, Mr. Healey served as an analyst at a major Canadian bank, where he specialized in structuring debt financing across diverse industries. Additionally, he spent 8 years as a Quality Manager at an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory which performed extensive assay and analysis work for major mining and precious metals refining companies, as well as conducting R&D support programs for a wide array of industries.
